Lydia Hearst models Myla designer lingerie

Myla lingerie

Myla is an exclusive lingerie brand designed in London.

Its clients include Kate Moss, Nicole Kidman, and Reese Witherspoon.

Back in 2008, its ad campaign with Lydia Hearst, daughter of kidnapped heiress Patty Hearst, caused a storm.

Lydia was chosen by Myla for her intelligent sexuality.

Red alert lingerie

Seasonal lingerie

There's no better stocking filler than stockings, thigh highs and designer pantyhose.

We recommend stockings by Stockingirl, Myla, and Victoria's Sectret.

Black stockings are a favorite, but at Christmas why not add sugar and spice to your love life and try a dash of seasonal red -- or black stockings with red trim?

Myla lingere

London-based lingerie brand Myla was put on the international map by supermodel Lydia Hearst, daughter of kidnapped heiress Patty Hearst.

Hearst was chosen to model Myla's 2008 winter collection. She is great-granddaughter of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst.

Her mother, Patty Hearst, was snatched by U.S. guerilla group the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) in 1974.

Patty Hearst was 19 when she was taken from her home in Berkeley, California by the SLA in an attempt to exchange her for imprisoned members of the group.

Two months later she hit the headlines when she said she wanted to join her captors.

She posed with a rifle in an SLA poster, and called herself Tania in her her new role as an urban guerilla.

In 1976 she was given a seven-year jail term for her part in a SLA bank robbery, despite claiming she had been brainwashed by the group.

Her sentence was commuted two years later by President Jimmy Carter and she was given a full pardon by US President Bill Clinton in 2001.

She married her bodyguard Bernard Shaw in 1979 and gave birth to Lydia in 1984.

Patty Hearst's exotic background has helped rather than hindered her daughter's career.

She was crowned supermodel of the year at the 2007 'fashion Oscars', the Michael awards, and has been photographed by Mario Testino and Terry Richardson.

For the Myla collection, she poses in a range of 1940s-inspired underwear, which are said to represent intelligent sexiness.

Myla is very pleased with Lydia's work, which lifted them from luxurious obscurity in London's classier districts to international lingerie stardom.

We were delighted when the opportunity arose to work with Lydia, said Myla. She has an amazing dynamic energy. She perfectly represents the Myla women.
